Finnish Ale

One observation: isn’t it strange that in Finland Beer is called Øl! Yes, beer is oil! And instead of serving it in bottles, in Finnish bars it is served from a beer nozzle similar to a gas pump in a gas station.

    Finnisches Bier wird Olut oder Kalja genannt. Öl ist der schwedische Ausdruck dafür :)

    Stimmt nicht, s.o.. Übrigens kommt der Buchstabe Ø weder im Finnischen noch im Schwedischen vor, das Finnische hat nicht mal einen dem “Ö” vergleichbaren Laut.

    Maybe you are both right – I just remember that I was standing in a Finnish bar drinking oil from gas nozzles ;-) It’s been a while though.
