Keepvid and Super – saves streamed videos

Did you ever want to save your favorite Youtube Video? With Keepvid you can save streamed videos and display them later offline. However you need to have a FLV-Player to display the files. Keepvid itself offers only a commercial software for converting the keepvid-files to the normal formats. Converting to MP3 is already possible, if you have Linux then converting to video formats is also possible. Or you just use Super – a free encoder that converts from and to any kind of format.

Via Jan. Gugelproductions discusses the idea of an online video-database for naming and organizing movie-files.
