Recommendations for a good email-program?

If any of you out there can recommend me a good email-program that has the following features

  • easy import of my current Outlook Express Files
  • easy import of my adressbook
  • calendar
  • synchronisation with mobile phone
  • PGP-secure communication
  • possibility to archive emails

But most importantly:

  • Reducing the amount of file space used
  • automatically zipping of large emails
  • saving all emails in txt-format and saves attachments automatically in an extra file-folder.

    Dear Karsten, concerning most of your points, you are obviously talking about Thunderbird (www.mozilla.com). I have been using it for years, on Mac, Linux and Windows. However, I am about to switch to Gmail, since I want my mail to be conveniently accessible from anywhere, plus I like sorting with tags/labels more than folders.
